C.S. Course Stages
Stage – 1 : Foundation Programme with 4 papers.
Stage – 2 : Executive programme 2 modules with 3 papers each.
Stage – 3 : Professional Programme 4 modules with 2 papers each.
+15 months Practical Training
i.e. undergo training under a certified Company Secretary in whole time practice or in a firm of such Company Secretaries as provided by council
Examination
Institute Examinations are held in month of June & December at, 65 Examination Centres spread all over India & One overseas.

All fees in Favour of ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.’ The institute does not accept payment by way o Cheque.
Documents required :
(1) Attested copy of H.S.C. exam Certificate.
(2) S.S.C. exam certificate as of Birth Date Proof
(3) Two p.p. size photographs
Minimum Passing Percentage -50% aggregate in H.S.C. exam.

Is Foundation Compulsory for all?
No, Graduates (other than Fine arts) can directly appear for executive Programme.
Foundation Courses
The programme offers an opportunity to the students passing the senior secondary or its equivalent examination in any stream or who have appeared or enrolled themselves for appearing in the exam to decide their career at that stage and to enter in the profession.
No restriction with regards to age of the candidate or marks in senior Secondary examination.
Provisional Registration
Immediately after receiving the admit card and for appearing 10 + 2 exams & also while awaiting for results.

Passing Criteria
To clear the examination at any level, a student needs to score 40 marks in each paper and overall aggregate of 50%.
For executive level & Professional Programme, Module wise clearance is necessary.
For example :
Module –I of Executive level consist of 3 papers. A student needs to score 40 in each of these paper and overall 50% aggregate.
Otherwise a student will have to give all the 3 papers again.
However if a student has scored 60 or more marks in any Paper, he is not required to give that paper.
C.C. Certificate
Students can join either postal or Oral Coaching Scheme with the institute. It is necessary to get Coaching Completion Certificate to be eligible to appear for examination.
Postal Coaching
Students who opt for the postal coaching scheme, have to submit the Group wise postal test papers, before 28th of February of appear for June examinations & & before 31st August to appear for December Examination. |
